Sophie Turner Matched Joe Jonas in Her Sheer Black Cape Dress on the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars After Party
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas took themselves out to considered one of Hollywood’s most famous parties and date nights of the 12 months: the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars after party. The couple posed together, each wearing black. Turner specifically stood out in a Louis Vuitton look, featuring a sheer black cape dress with a cutout neckline and darker mini dress underneath. She wore her long red hair down straight and wore a smokey eye makeup look. Meanwhile, Jonas looked sharp in Bode.

Turner and Jonas first began dating in 2016. They got married in May 2019 and now have two daughters. In May 2022, Turner spoke to Jimmy Fallon about how she knew she’d marry Jonas “the primary night I met him.”
“We went out and we frolicked at a bar with, like, all my friends, and all his friends, after which all of them got here back to my apartment and we had drinks after,” Turner recalled, adding she cried to her brother that she was already in love with Jonas. “I remember he left my apartment, and it can have been the alcohol, but I just wept to my brother. I used to be like, ‘I like this man a lot.’ And I knew. And that was it.”
She spoke to ELLE in March 2020 about how being married to Jonas is not all that different from dating him. “I feel just like the only thing that’s modified for me is having this incredible sense of security. Just the word husband and the word wife—it just solidifies the connection,” she said. “I like being married. I believe it’s wonderful. I’m sure we’ll have our hiccups and our various things. But straight away, it’s like the safety and the protection is every thing.”
