On Friday morning, Selena Gomez was photographed on the set of her hit Hulu show Only Murders In The Constructing in Queens, NY, together with her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short. The singer and actress’ search for the day included black denim pants peeking out from under an oversized dark purple trench coat by OlÄnich. The statement piece made out of faux leather featured large lapels and a belt cinching her in on the waist.
Under the coat was a pale pink button down and on her feet were a pair of white lace-up boots with a thick black sole.

Gomez left her long brunette hair down in waves and wore a pair of gold double hoop earrings. She had on a natural makeup palette for the shoot with a light-weight coral lip.

On Only Murders within the Constructing, Gomez plays Mabel Mora, one in all a trio of friends who’re obsessive about true crime and who start a podcast together as they investigate a murder in their very own apartment constructing. The show was renewed for a 3rd season after receiving much critical acclaim, and has attracted plenty of big guest stars like Tina Fey, Ryan Broussard, Jane Lynch, Meryl Streep, Ashley Park, and Paul Rudd.
The pop star told Deadline in an interview last yr that when she was pitched the role, she was immediately excited to work with Martin and Short ā and that the show’s subject was of non-public interest to her.
āThey pitched me the thought and it led into an entire conversation about my actual obsession with true crime,ā said Gomez. āI had just come back from CrimeCon once I had the decision and it just felt prefer it was something I actually desired to do. They were all so lovely. And dealing with Steve and Marty can be a dream.ā
