Chopra Jonas has been doing press for Love Again and her Amazon Prime series Citadel. For Love Again, she’s been leaning into more rom-com-worthy ensembles. Her giant Cinderella blue bow dress she wore to the premiere, specifically, got major media coverage.
The actress recently spoke to ELLE about her life as a mother to her and her husband Nick Jonas’ one-year-old daughter Malti. “She’s got me wrapped round her finger,” Chopra Jonas admitted. “I don’t even know the way I’ll ever discipline her because I just don’t have it in me. I used to be so near losing her so over and over that she will be able to get away with anything and I just wish to see her completely satisfied. I need her to be the happiest. She’s an excellent smiley, completely satisfied baby, and that’s all my goal is—to see her joyous. Each time she smiles, it lights up my world, and that’s all I need to do.”
As for what has surprised her about being a mother, Chopra Jonas said, “Just how much you may love something and the way viciously you’ll protect it. I’ve seen my mom rip people after I’ve been hurt and I just never understood it. I used to be like, ‘Mom, relax. What are you doing?’ Now I get it. I might take someone out.”
