Miley Cyrus Celebrated ‘Flowers’ Success in a Plunging Little Black Dress

Miley Cyrus fêted the worldwide chart-topping success of her latest single (and rumored Liam Hemsworth breakup song) “Flowers” within the type of plunging little black dress meant to make an announcement. Cyrus shared an Instagram post of her dancing within the piece, thanking fans for his or her support of the primary single of her musical comeback.

“Celebrating ‘Flowers’ being #1 around the globe again this week!” she wrote. “I like that this record is connecting in such a positive way & it’s a pleasure to proceed creating music for you. These milestones are only made possible by the listeners & my incredible fans. Endlessly thankful.” She then listed the countries during which the song was #1.

Cyrus hasn’t commented on the fan theories concerning the song, which was released on her ex-husband Hemsworth’s thirty third birthday. But her older sister Brandi Cyrus touched on the fan chatter concerning the song shortly after its release. She said, while talking with Wells Adams on the “Your Favorite Thing” podcast:

“Miley’s recent song, all of the tea…and all of the narratives that fans are making on TikTok. It’s so good,” she began. “The song did come out on his birthday—was that on purpose? I don’t know. Can’t say. Genius, though.”

The fan theories make “Miley look like an absolute genius,” Brandi continued. “And it’s just too good. Like, each day I wake as much as a recent one. The primary one was something about this Bruno Mars song. They’re like, ‘Liam played the Bruno Mars song at their wedding! And this can be a response to the Bruno Mars song.’ That one’s funny.”

“Then there was, ‘The suit she’s wearing is the suit Liam wore on the Avengers premiere, where he told her that she needed to behave for once. And so this can be a f*ck you because she’s within the suit.’ Hilarious,” Brandi added. “Then the opposite one was, ‘The home is the home where Liam used to take people [to] cheat on her with.’ The narratives are f*cking hilarious, but it surely’s so great. The perfect PR that would ever occur since it gets people talking concerning the song on TikTok and it’s in all places. And it’s just so fun to observe all of it play out. Miley fans, I like ya.”

Brandi dodged the query when asked if any of the theories were true: “I’m not here to say that’s true and what’s not true. Only Miley knows the reality.”
