Meghan Markle is close friend’s with Argentinian socialite Delfina Blaquier, wife of Nacho Figueras. Figueras is a famous polo player who has had a detailed friendship with Prince Harry for over 15 years, and the 2 couples have gotten even closer because the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to the US.
On Thursday, August 25, Harry and Figueras were participating within the annual Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup, a vital fundraiser for the charity Harry founded in 2006. Blaquier was in attendance, as was Meghan.
In an interview with HELLO! Blaquier told them that “it’s at all times essential to support Sentebale, and to indicate my husband support.”
When asked about her friendship with Meghan, she added, “She is so wonderful and powerful. Stronger than she knows… I like being around my friends, and I’ll at all times support her.”
Figueras weighed in with some thoughts about Harry’s relationship with Meghan.
“I even have known him for thus long and he has at all times wanted someone to like and marry and have a family with, so it makes me so completely satisfied to see them completely satisfied and with two beautiful children,” he said.
Meghan just released her first Podcast with Spotify, Archetypes, and this week it was the most-listened-to podcast in six countries, even unseating The Joe Rogan Experience. The theme of the podcast is that it “investigates the labels that attempt to hold women back.”
The very first episode was an interview with Serena Williams called “The Misconceptions of Ambition.” Of their talk, they discussed their ambitions once they were young and what it takes to administer motherhood and a profession, all while being in the general public eye. Williams discussed her recent decision to retire from playing tennis and focus more on her plans to develop her other businesses.
