Meghan Markle Wore a Coordinating All-Black Outfit for Brunch in L.A.

Meghan Markle really hit International Women’s Day on the nose on Wednesday when she dined at Gracias Madre, a West Hollywood Mexican restaurant that describes itself as: “Born out of affection for Mother Earth and reverence for all moms.” Per the Each day Mail, the Duchess of Sussex was spotted walking outside wearing an all-black outfit—consisting of cropped pants, a sweater, and a Max Mara cashmere coat—together with Valentino sunglasses, ivory Valentino mules, and a black-and-white Chanel bag. A video shows Meghan waving to the nearby paparazzi, who wished her a completely happy International Women’s Day, and telling them: “Have an excellent day, guys. Thanks a lot.”

Meghan and her team also spent the day visiting the non-profit organization Harvest Home, which, based on its website, provides housing, mental health support, and classes to expectant moms who’ve “faced tremendous challenges including domestic violence, substance use and homelessness.” An announcement on the Archewell website explained that Meghan and their team “celebrated the ladies of Harvest Home by making a pop up baby boutique, hosting lunch from a female owned restaurant, and making a donation to the organization.”

The Gracias Madre meal was also perhaps a celebratory one as, just hours before, a spokesperson for the Sussexes released an announcement announcing that their one-year-old daughter had been christened on Friday in Los Angeles. The statement also subtly confirmed that the Sussexes’ children, Archie and Lilibet, had officially received their prince and princess titles, respectively. The 2 were eligible to receive the titles once their grandfather Prince Charles became King Charles after Queen Elizabeth II passed in September, nevertheless that is the primary time the titles have been used publicly. A spokesperson told royal reporter Omid Scobie: “The kids’s titles have been a birthright since their grandfather became Monarch. This matter has been settled for a while in alignment with Buckingham Palace.”

And in alignment with this news, I have to say Meghan’s chic, coordinating outfit really does scream mother-of-a-prince-and-princess-who-still-lives-in-California-and-maybe-eats-burritos. A completely happy belated International Women’s Day indeed!
