The coupleās appearance comes hours after Prince William and Kate Middleton had their very own luxe evening within the U.K., attending King Charles IIIās first Diplomatic Corps Reception as king.
It also comes just two days before the primary a part of their Netflix documentary series, Harry & Meghan, is released on Thursday. Three out of six episodes will likely be available to stream, and trailers have made it clear that Meghan and Harry are going straight into the royal drama that led them to step back from their senior working royal family roles within the U.K.
āThereās a hierarchy of the family,ā Harry says in the most recent trailer. āYou already know thereās leaking, but thereās also planting of stories [in the British tabloids].ā
āItās a unclean game,ā he continues. āThe pain and suffering of girls marrying into this institution is a feeding frenzy.ā
Meghan touched on the coupleās feelings about giving their story to documentary director Liz Garbus and her team in an interview with Variety.
āItās nice to give you the option to trust someone with our storyāa seasoned director whose work Iāve long admiredāeven when it means it will not be the way in which we’d have told it. But thatās not why weāre telling it,ā she said. āWeāre trusting our story to another person, and which means it’ll undergo their lens.ā
āItās interesting,ā she continued.ā My husband has never worked on this industry before. For me, having worked on Suits, itās so amazing to be around a lot creative energy and to see how people work together and share their very own points of view. Thatās been really fun.ā
