On Friday, ahead of mother’s day weekend, Meghan Markle’s friend and colleague Kelly McKee Zajfen posted a sweet photo in a tribute to the Duchess of Sussex and moms in every single place. Zajfen is the co-founder of Alliance of Mothers, a corporation that works to support pregnant and parenting mothers within the Los Angeles foster care system.
Meghan has been supporting one among their newest campaigns, and within the candid shot she is wearing a t-shirt with the Community of Motherhood logo on it while smiling warmly at Zajfen, an informal cardigan tied round her shoulders.
Within the caption, the co-founder gushed about Meghan’s work with the organization and greater than that, her own relationship to motherhood.
“As Mother’s Day approaches, I can’t help but consider my very own #commUNITY of Motherhood,” she wrote. “I immediately consider you Meg. How incredibly nurturing and warm and open you’re. What an incredible friend and mother. I’m truly in awe of you and I’m so grateful you’re a part of my #CommUNITYofmotherhood.”
She continued, “You might be at all times the primary to say yes and support those you like. You might be a fierce advocate for individuals who are in need. Thanks for joining this 12 months’s campaign to support LA’s expectant and parenting foster youth, which helps provide critical services, education, resources and advocacy so that they can construct a greater future for themselves and their families.”
Meghan can be celebrating Mother’s Day because the mom of two children, her son Archie and daughter Lilibet, shared together with her husband Prince Harry. On her first Mother’s Day with Archie, she share a glimpse of his foot over a lawn of Princess Diana’s favorite flowers, forget-me-nots. The Duchess made sure to pay tribute to her husband’s late mother in her caption.
“Paying tribute to all moms today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and people lost but eternally remembered,” she wrote. “We honour and rejoice each one among you.”
