People reported more detail on Wednesday about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s surprise romance. A “Jenner source” told the outlet that the 2 stars are hanging out with regularity, although their relationship is casual and low pressure.
“[They] hang around every week, [but] it isn’t serious,” the source said. “She is attending to know him. Kylie is having fun. After years of forwards and backwards with Travis [Scott], she just wants to this point with none pressure.”
The source added that Jenner and Chalamet met earlier in 2023 during an event in Europe. (Footage has surfaced of them talking at Paris Fashion Week in late January. “They’ve quite a bit to speak about. [Chalamet] is fun and charming,” the source said.
Her family may be very supportive of Jenner’s budding romance with Chalamet, the source added, and excited for her to this point someone aside from Scott, with whom Jenner has had a turbulent on-off relationship. Scott and Jenner share her two kids, five-year-old Stormi and one-year-old Aire. A source told People in January, when Scott and Jenner’s most up-to-date split was reported, that “[it has] never been a straightforward relationship” and “there may be a reason that they never got married. It’s at all times been very up and down. And so they have never even lived together. They’ve at all times had separate homes.”
Chalamet is a welcome change, People’s Jenner source said now: “Everyone wants Kylie to maneuver on…Everyone within the family is completely happy and supportive of Kylie dating.”
People’s update comes after Entertainment Tonight confirmed on April 17 that Jenner and Chalamet really are dating. “They’re keeping things casual at this point,” Entertainment Tonight’s source said. “It isn’t serious, but Kylie is having fun with hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes. It has been really fun for her since it feels quite a bit different than her past relationships. It’s recent and exciting for Kylie and she or he’s having a number of fun.”
The source added that “Timothée can be friends with Kendall, so it has been easy for Kylie to integrate him into her life.”
