Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, has supposedly had quite an effect on the royal family. They were apparently not expecting a few of the stories and accusations that got here from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex within the six-part doc about their lives. A source told Us Weekly on Thursday that Kate Middleton is one one who feels “betrayed” by the situation.
“Kate feels hurt and betrayed that Harry would do that to her, too, especially because the pair was so close,” they said.
As for Harry’s brother, the Prince of Wales, he “isn’t planning to offer his side of the story or openly retaliate.”
The insider added, “He’s remaining dignified and is getting on with the job.”
One other source told Page Six that William and Kate have not watched the series.
“William and Kate’s aides have briefed them on the show, but don’t expect the couple to take a seat down of their cottage with a bowl of popcorn to tune in themselves,” the insider said.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are mentioned quite a bit within the series, most unflatteringly in a story about how William was “bullying” Meghan and Harry out of the family and being verbally aggressive together with his brother. The Sussexes stepped back from their role as working members of the royal family in January 2020, then officially quit in February 2021 after allegedly trying to achieve some type of agreement with the monarchy about their duties. Meghan had been a goal of the press for a while, and was experiencing extreme mental pressure affecting her health and sense of safety.
The couple then moved to California, where they proceed to live and lift their two children, three-year-old son Archie, and their one-year-old daughter Lilibet.
