The 2 women worked together for 10 years from 1994 to 2004. The group had a temporary reunion in early 2021, and Aniston admitted in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that it brought up lots of unexpected feelings and memories of the difficulties she faced because the show ended.

“I believe we were just so naive walking into it, pondering, ‘How fun is that this going to be? They’re putting the sets back together, exactly as they were.’ Then you definitely get there and it’s like, ‘Oh right, I hadn’t considered what was happening the last time I used to be actually here,’” Aniston said. “It just took me by surprise since it was like, ‘Hi, past, remember me? Remember how that sucked? You thought all the things was in front of you and life was going to be just gorgeous and you then went through perhaps the toughest time in your life?’”

She added, “It was all very jarring and, in fact, you have cameras in every single place and I’m already slightly emotionally accessible, I suppose you might say. I needed to walk out at certain points. I do not understand how they cut around it.”
