Inside Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn’s Relationship as Eras Tour Starts: He’ll ‘Travel With Her When He Can’
Joe Alwyn wasn’t spotted by fans in the group at Taylor Swift’s Eras tour through the opening weekend, but they’ll probably see him at future shows across the country and world. People gave a really rare update on the 2’s relationship of over six years and the way they plan to handle Swift’s tour schedule. “Joe will travel along with her when he can,” the source said. “They’re great together. Joe is super supportive of her profession.”
Swift generally is worked up to be back on the market along with her fans. “She has rehearsed for months and was ready. She is in amazing shape,” the source said. “She loves connecting along with her fans again.”
It has been a while since any update on Swift and Alwyn’s relationship has come out, but Swift herself spoke just a little about their private dynamic when teasing her Midnights track “Lavender Haze” in the autumn.
“I happened upon the phrase ‘lavender haze’ after I was watching Mad Men. I looked it up because I assumed it sounded cool,” she said. “And it seems that it’s a standard phrase utilized in the ’50s where they’d describe being in love. If you happen to’re within the ‘lavender haze,’ then that meant you were in that all-encompassing love glow. And I assumed that was really beautiful.”
“I suppose, theoretically, if you’re within the ‘lavender haze,’ you’ll do anything to remain there,” she continued. “And never let people bring you down off of that cloud. I believe that a variety of people must take care of this now, not similar to ‘public figures,’ because we live within the era of social media, and if the world finds out should you’re in love with any person they’re going to weigh in on it. Like my relationship for six years we’ve needed to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it. So this song is concerning the act of ignoring that stuff to guard the actual stuff.”
