Gisele Bündchen Wears a Vintage Chanel Couture Gown With a Feathered Cape for Her Return to the Met Gala
Gisele Bündchen just made her mark on the primary Monday in May. The newly single model took to the red carpet wearing a vintage Chanel high fashion dress with a feathered cape attached for tonight’s “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” theme. As eagle-eyed users on Twitter noted, Bünchen had posed within the 2007 look before for a Harper’s Bazaar South Korea editorial that very same 12 months:

While Bündchen usually attended the Met Gala together with her ex-husband Tom Brady, this marks Bündchen’s highest profile event since their divorce was finalized in October 2022. And, naturally, she went all out. Confirmation of her attendance at this 12 months’s gala broke earlier today, when TMZ reported that she had flown into Latest York City ahead of the occasion and can be wearing Chanel.
In September 2022, Bündchen opened as much as ELLE about coping with change. “I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom Brady],” she said before their divorce. “I moved to Boston, and I focused on making a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams. Seeing my children succeed and change into the gorgeous little humans that they’re, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his profession—it makes me pleased. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a great job on that.”
Now, it’s her turn to pursue her dreams, she said: “I even have an enormous list of things that I even have to do, that I need to do. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose.”
