On Friday, March 17, Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin confirmed they secretly welcomed a second child last 12 months just before Christmas. The couple’s first child, Dakota Song Culkin, was born in April 2021. Dakota is called after Culkin’s late sister, who died in a automobile accident in 2008. The brand new parents kept that event private for some time as well, only releasing a transient statement saying they were “overjoyed.”
The pair have been together since 2017, and got engaged in January 2022, in accordance with US Weekly.
“They’re and all the time have been very in love with one another,” a source told the publication on the time. Though they often keep their relationship private in addition to their expanding family, Culkin did discuss their family planning in April 2018 on an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience.
“I’m gonna make some babies,” he gushed. “This one’s a very good one, so I’m probably going to place some babies in her in a bit of bit. I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing.”
After the birth of Dakota, one other source said they were already consider one other baby.
“They need multiple kid obviously. … It will probably definitely occur soon,” the insider said in March 2022.
The source added that Song was “really focused on being a mom and giving him her full attention. She has a very good support system round her, but she and Macaulay are really hands-on parents.”
The couple appear to be specializing in parenthood somewhat than wedding planning, though Song has shared just a few images of their outside adventures since Dakota was born.
In an Instagram post of she and Culkin at a Rams game, she wrote within the caption, “Only a few things can get us out of the home and away from our son.”
