
Angelina Jolie has shared latest details alleging her ex-husband Brad Pitt abused her and their children in a cross-complaint filed today in Los Angeles in connection to the coupleās legal case over ownership of their once-shared French winery ChĆ¢teau Miraval, the Latest York Times and Page Six report. Jolie and Pitt share six children: Maddox, 21; Pax, 18; Zahara, 17; Shiloh, 16; and 14-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
The actressā lawyers wrote that Jolieās attempts to sell her share of ChĆ¢teau Miraval to Pitt fell apart after Pitt demanded she sign āa nondisclosure agreement that will have contractually prohibited her from speaking outside of court about Pittās physical and emotional abuse of her and their children,ā the Times cited from the filing it obtained.
Jolieās latest filing detailed the coupleās alleged altercation during a plane ride on Sept. 14, 2016 that ultimately led Jolie to file for divorce from Pitt days after, on Sept. 20, 2016.
The Latest York Times reports her suit said the incident began when Pitt accused her of being ātoo deferentialā to their children after which yelled at her in the lavatory.
āPitt grabbed Jolie by the top and shook her, after which grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the lavatory wall,ā the filing stated, per the Latest York Times. āPitt then punched the ceiling of the plane quite a few times, prompting Jolie to go away the lavatory.ā
The Latest York Times added that āwhen one in every of the youngsters got here to Jolieās defense, the court papers said, Pitt lunged at the kid, prompting her to grab him from behind. Todayās latest counter-filing comes after multiple outlets, including NBC News and Rolling Stone, reported in August that Jolie was āJane Doeā in a suit filed against the FBI for withholding documents about its investigation of the plane altercation. In those documents, Doe detailed a Sept. 14, 2016 incident that resembles the one Jolieās team is describing now.
Within the August lawsuit, obtained by ELLE.com, attorneys Amanda Kramer and Molly Doggett assert on behalf of Doe, āa victim of the assault herself,ā that the non-release of documents to her pertaining to the investigation āhas hampered, and continues to hamper, her efforts to acquire for her children essential ongoing care and medical attention, and has further harmed the youngsters within the family law system.ā
NBC News, Entertainment Tonight, People, and Rolling Stone also obtained copies of an FBI report detailing Doeās, who the outlets report is Jolieās, testimony concerning the flight. Details included acknowledgment of the beer pouring and Pittās alleged bathroom altercation with Jolie.
Page Six reported that Jolie submitted photos of her alleged injuries to the FBI for the report, together with journals from the youngsters.
