With the best hits from the Cruel Intentions soundtrack blaring through the speakers, the Park Avenue Armory was, for a half hour, the Latest Yorkiest place in Latest York—and that was precisely the point. In response to creative director Stuart Vevers, Coach’s fall 2023 collection was meant to honor “individuality, community, and secure spaces where all are free to come back as they’re—just the way in which Latest York City intermingles people from all walks of life.” That included an epic front row, featuring Coach ambassador Lil Nas X in the middle, flanked by Ice Spice, and, further to his right, Zoey Deutch and Kate Berlant.—Claire Stern, digital deputy editor
