This week, Cara Delevingne was seen in Los Angeles along with her rumored girlfriend, musical artist Minke. They were noted as a pair after being photographed sharing a kiss in Portofino, Italy, while on vacation.

The 31-year-old’s musician’s real name is Leah Mason, and she or he hails from London. The singer once performed under her original name after being signed to a label in Nashville, playing mostly blues. But she lost some inspiration and decided to reinvent herself.
In an interview with LadyGunn in 2019, Minke said the genre didn’t fit her and she or he was all the time singing about ābeinā in a bar in Nashvilleā or āan old man on the crossroads.ā
āI began to feel increasingly like I used to be pretending,ā Minke said. āThere have been old biker dudes, I remember, at a show of mine once. I remember being like, āThis isnāt what I needs to be doing. This isnāt my full purpose.āā
Since changing her sound, Minke has been getting thousands and thousands of Spotify streams, particularly for her hit song āGold Angel.ā
āThatās where Minke got here from,ā Minke said to The Lines of Best Fit. āI began forming this project in my head while I used to be doing the blues stuff. It grew from there. I desired to take those [blues] roots ā because thatās in my DNA ā and be true to my experiences. Thatās why [Minke] has got some blues guitar riffs in there, with modern production and pop stuff in between.ā

āI grew up in an old-fashioned household. I didnāt know anyone who was gay,ā Delevingne explained. āI didnāt know that was a thing and truly, I feel growing up ā¦ I wasnāt knowledgeable of the actual fact I used to be homophobic.ā
She continued, āThe concept of being [with] same-sex [partners], I used to be disgusted by that, in myself. I used to be like, āOh, my God, I’d never. Thatās disgusting, ugh.ā I used to be so ashamed of ever being that…But, actually, that was the a part of me that I like a lot and accept.ā
